Question Doubts between Warwick combos, For practice and learn at home

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello.

I'm newbie, and a few days ago, my wife gave me a present, one Hofner Icon Bass.

Now, i'm search one amp for to learn and play only at home. I see two Warwick Amps in Thomann, Warwick Blue Cab 15.1 for 66 € http://www.thomann.de/es/warwick_blue_cab_151.htm and Warwick Blue Cab 60.1 for 122 €http://www.thomann.de/es/warwick_blue_cab_601.htm http://www.thomann.de/es/warwick_blue_cab_601.htm

The question is, which is better at home, play with small amp to medium volume, or the big amp to minium volume?

I don't know which of the two purchase!!!

Thank you for your answers.

If you can afford it i would get the most expensive one, it has a 12" speaker as opposed to the 8" in the cheaper one.
Even if you play at low volume the 12" speaker is going to sound A LOT better!

Yes, better to have more power than you need and turn down, then to not have enough, and nowhere to go from there. Get the 12".
