Dr. Bass 1580 speaker question

Hiya,

Looking at one of these second-hand in the UK.

If it has an Eminence driver in it, will it be the 3015LF?

Probably not unless it was custom ordered with one. The stock driver was a ceramic Eminence. I had one briefly in 2007 and was not impressed. You'd probably be much happier if you could find a Barefaced cab.

I know it's definitely a neo, and the guy says it's an Eminence.

I dunno if anybody would build a nEarful with a Basslite or Deltalite?

Could be then, Jim. You'll just have to pull the woofer to confirm the model.

I wouldn't call it a nEarful though. The one I had exhibited less bass than my Carvin LS1503.

Dr Bass would load 'em with any requested driver, so it could be anything!

Turns out it's a 15" Basslite in there.....
