My Dr. Bass 2X12 1,000 watt 4 ohm cabinet has 2 inputs, I'm using a crown power amp with it. I know I can bridge the amp and send one line into the cabinet, but what I want to know is can I send a line from both channels into each input? Are the inputs wired to each speaker or is it just for linking to a 2nd cabinet? Also, if it is possible which is the better way to go? Thanks for any help. |

There is no advantage to passing a second cable from the amp's other output to the cab's second input.
On the other hand, Dr Bass seems to have done some crazy sh!t, so who knows?

bridge from the amp. Don't ever do what you're talking about, ever.

So for your question on bridging: you can bridge your amp into this cab, but you will only need one speaker cable to do it. |

I mean, unless you're actively looking to destroy your amp setup. In which case...go ahead.

Additionally if you intend to bridge DO NOT use 1/4" phone speaker cables. They are dangerous for this service both to you physically and to your amp. Only speakons are safe.
