sadly, it is cool and has awesome tone. sadly because i had to fight him thru paypal and wade thru his litany of fantastic BS excuses to get it 30 days after he promised. as such, i sold it when i found out about the rest of the customers he's so screwed. it made me feel guilty that i had my box and sick to see that "DR. BASS" nameplate on the stage.

so, i'm back to an ampeg 410HLF box loaded with CA2010's. a little bigger, but great tone and no guilt.

Yeah i'm not going to buy it or anything, but definitely seems like a cool design. Stack 1 on top of the other and I bet it would sound great. It sucks to have a good design being made by what appears to be a gifted crook.

Folks who've been bilked out of gear and funds are bound to be upset. And for good reason. You have to remember, they've lost money, effort, and time w/o resolution. YEARS have gone by and they haven't seen the cabinets they ordered or a refund of the money they paid upfront and in good faith.

You'd still be pissed off if it was you.

What EVERYONE needs to remember is that bickering and threats will get this thread locked down. It has happened in the past. This thread would be buried and people searching for custom cabs would not find this it so easily; and of course, they would not get the news that DRB is maybe not the the best option.

We can all can agree that that would be bad.

Treat your fellow TB'er the way you want them to treat you. Think your post is inflammatory? That you are only going to incite an argument?

Hit the "cancel" button and move on.

Reporting how I was ripped off, how much I was ripped off for, and efforts to get un-ripped off......

... this upstanding person who is the reason for this thread in the first place is attempting to re-start this scam, and start "fresh" while sweeping the original victim(s) under the table (no, I'm not the only one).

...as I stated to the person in question numerous times, " refund my money, and I go away" . Until that happens, I will be a constant thorn in this person's side, especially in light of all the past, and continuing efforts put forth by IC3, US Postal Inspectors Service, USPS, BBB of Coastal Carolina, South Carolina Attorney's General, Horry County Sheriff's Dept., etc.

let's keep this on the topic please. and no, there hasn't been any sailing ships, but i'd rather not have to go through this thread with a machete again, so if you see something that is obviously counter to the intent (that of getting everyone who's been ripped off their gear/refund, and making sure that nobody else suffers the same consequences) please just report it.

If the cabinet Marc Serio built for me arrives on Monday as scheduled, he will have fulfilled his three year old financial obligation to me. I actually have a tracking number and UPS says its en route. I will be very, very glad that this long and tiresome transaction will be behind me.

It was about 4 years ago that I paid for a 115 cabinet, my second from Marc. I'm happy to say that I finally did receive the cabinet as ordered, it's fantastic & works like I hoped it would. I never gave up on him, hoping that eventually he'd be able to honor his committment. I'm glad that he finally did & I'll hope for completion for all his clients as he works to restore his reputation.
