After three years of significant challenges, Marc Serio has finally settled up with me.
He shipped me a cab a few days ago and according to UPS it should be here on Monday.
I'll post a follow up once it arrives.

I'd go buy lottery tickets if I were you.
You're on a roll!

First Rush gets in the RRHOF and now this! The Mayans were right, the world is going to end on 12/21!

I'll believe it when I see it but UPS does have it listed as being in Richmond, VA en route for delivery on Monday. 112lb package.

Here's hoping! I just want to get the entire event resolved.

A 2x15 cabinet with two Faital Pro 15s, an Eminence 8" mid and two tweeters. Vertical orientation. Big "rock" cab. 112lbs was the weight including all the packing material.

I certain agree it's ridiculously overdue good news for Matt Morgan.

And while it's a step in the right direction for Dr. Bass, it's just one in a really long road.

Personally though, I wouldn't dream of placing an order with him until there were lots more reports of this sort. And then only if he offered really good discounts. And even then if he only wanted 25% up front.

And then I'd probably still do LDS .

Its loaded with two Faital Pro 15FH500 500w 15" speakers, a single Eminence Alpha-8MRA 125w 8" closed back midrange , and two Pyramid TW-44 1" 150w titanium bullet tweeters.

It will have attenuators for both the mid driver and tweeters. It is a 4 ohm cab and should have about a 1200w power handling capability.

I've been using a modular 2 x 112 cabinet set up for years now and I was in the mood for something a little more, shall we say, "definitive".

I have a Genz Benz ShuttleMax 9.2 that I'm using now but I plan on picking up something like a Carvin B2000, a Markbass SD1200 or possibly an Ampeg SVT 7 Pro to drive it.
