If money were no issue. If you had any materials, components, designers, gurus available. just for you, not "the market". would you start with a brand new amp design? would it be a head and cab(s) or a combo? dream on.

| | I wouldn't change one stupid decision... | | Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: Maryland | | | I would have GK craft a ~350 watt, 2 ohm capable all tube head for me, in the style of the old 800RB. I would run 2 of those heads, in stereo, and each head would power 2 GK 412 Neo's. This head, tentatively called the GK 350TB, would also have a seperate power section for the very highs (again, like the biamping for the 800RB) that would privately power two GK 410Neos (stacked like a fridge).
Set up would look like:
|350TB| |350TB|

Bongo 5 HH, Fender Roscoe Beck V, & Fender AmStd P5 as input instruments.
Roadies and a van would be a must!

I'm most of the way there and, to be perfectly honest, a single 810 is ample for my needs

Searching this forum with keyword "fearful" will probably come up with some good information. The intention is to have a studio monitor-like bass cabinet. |

| | | Big stack of fEARful 15/6s, and a big all-tube power amp for each one (SVT300 maybe?). An all-tube preamp for my Fender fretless, and two all-tube preamps for the two pickups of my Rick.
And a really big place to play! |

And a Fender Bassman TV Duo Ten amp for the studio. |
