2x15. For now. During my break, it'll go up to 4x15.

True, there's a self-section process going on. But, it's the same with any survey data.

It's still pretty interesting, even if I wouldn't call it science.

I use a pair of MB 604's as my main rig. Small gigs I use only one. I get I big full sound out of these 6" drivers. At 18" square these cabs are slick.

Here's what I use as speakers for my ERB work (and some 4-string):
This system runs stereo. Each side has a custom Acme B1W 10" subwoofer and an Acme B1 Series III 10"+mid+tweeter.
And for Rock/Blues, etc with the 4's: Schroeder PL212 w/Schroeder PL15.

Interesting results. I thought I was in the minority with a 2x12 rig. I figured it was the best of both worlds between 10 and 15.

My rig is the Eden Metro which is a combo with 2 X 10 and the XLT-410 extention cab. So that adds up to 6 X 10 for me.

2 - 112 cabs (custom with 3012 HOs) and a Walter Woods Ultra. I had previously used a pair of 210 cabs for many years, but this smaller and lighter rig is cutting it just fine!

A single 4X10 For jazz gigs and 2@ 4X10 for the rock gigs. Eden david series, DNA and Avatar.

I used 15's as a kid, but a 4X10 moves more air than 2X15's can and also has more punch because the speaker travels faster. I'm actually amazed at how many players use 15's. I thought they had gone by the wayside.

A 2X12 is also a nice cabinet.

I also usually use 2 preamps through a single crown power amp. one for passive and fretless and the other for active 4 and 5 string. 2 to 4 basses come with me to every show depending on the gig.

Though I put 8x10 on the survey, and I'll NEVER get rid of mine, the Bergantino HT322 covers most everything I do anymore. LOVE those two boxes. But check back with me in ten years, when I'm in my mid-50s.

I use my Ampeg 810 for large rooms and outdoor stuff. I can get by with a 410 for most gigs and my Mesa WA for some too. Nice to have options.
