Dumb Question but...

I was thinking about building a PJB style cab and was looking at some 4" full range speakers on PE's website. They are rated at 35 watts. If I have 10 of them would it be safe to assume that the cab will be a 350 watt cab?

PJB uses custom made drivers. HiFi drivers will probably not be able to take the service. Yes you would have a 350W cabinet but as the drivers will probably be 8Ω ten would make for an odd impedance. Use 12 or 16 if you wish to try this.

years ago I tried a guitar cabinet design using 16 small drivers. It worked quite well, for bass not so much.

This guy did something similar a few years ago -

Let the Insanity begin!

Initial Review - 16x5" Dayton drivers Cabinet.

Don't know if he comes around here much anymore. Might be worth a PM.
