Just bought one of these for the heck of it since it was a pretty good deal. I read the reviews and people say it is an awesome bass amp even though it was designed for guitar. It's 100 watts all tube so I figured it should be able to handle bass anyways but was wondering if there's anyone else out there who wants to share some information or cool stories about these amps with me. Thanks!

Chris

I had a plush padded earth 2000 bass amp in 1975. Very Kustom looking. Nice amp for the day. 2 15" speakers and a 2 channel amp. Probably 150 watts but I don't recall. Got that at Ted herberts in manchester NH. I had a 1973 Rick 4001 (EU Wurlitzers in Boston MA) then and ran ric o sound into both channels. Of couse th amp was mono in the end but I didn't know these things at the time

I had a similar Earth Amp with 215 cab, like a Kustom. Kind of wish I still had it, although it needed a ton of work.

I had an earth g2000 a while back, I never used it but had my friends (guitar) jam with it... it was quite powerful and with sounded pretty good...

I have had one. It was nice and very Fenderish sounding in my opinion. They are underrated by most and usually a good deal if you can find one. I think I paid less than 200 dollars for mine a couple years back. Mine had the sparkle blue tuck and roll. I have seen other colors like red and even yellow. I think that there is a Earth Sound forum somewhere out there on the net. Edit: Check them out here... http://earth.ampage.org/
