EBS HD350: How can i change from 110V to 220V?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi i bought an EBS HD350 while i was in the States and now i moved back to Europe and i'm trying to figure out how to convert my amp head from 110V to 220V. Any ideas?
So far i've heard 3 options. The one that sounds best is replacing just the fuse and the amp then just works. The other one is replace the whole built in power supply (but i kinda think that they were just trying to convince me to spend a truckload of money) and the 3rd option was to carry all the time a 220V to 110V converter. Please let me know if anyone knows if the fuse thing actually works.
Thanx

Nope!

The fuse thing, i've never heard of that.. maybe i'm wrong, but that won't work.

The power supply is valid, and the converter too.

But you might want to try contacting EBS, it is possible you're model has a universal transformer, and the line voltage can be altered via taps inside it. I don't know, i've never opened one myself.

Aren't EBS European anyways? I thought they were Swedish? But yes, contact them directly about it. Shouldn't be too hard.
