EBS TD650 CaB Help!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought an EBS TD650 a while back for a good price. I wasn't playing a whole lot so I never really got a cabinet for it. Now things are starting to pick up and I need to get a cabinet to use with it.

I have been using a small Eden rig, a WT264 & a 110EX, that's not gonna cut it anymore. I play jazz/fusion, blues, funk for the most part.

I use two basses, a '77 Fender Jazz and an '01 Ken Smith 6 string Elite N/T.

My preference would be to get an EBS cab to go with the TD650 but used EBS cabs are hard to come by. I don't like buying new gear, I guess that's the accountant in me worried about the depreciation.

With all that in mind, I am hoping to find some EBS owners here who can tell me their amp(s), cabs and basses and their tone. If you can tell me a little about your style as well. If you have any clips or samples of your sound that would be great.

I have played the Fafner with the EBS 8x10" and the 4x12" which are both just awesome. But since you play jazz, blues and funk, a 2x12" or 4x10" EBS should work just fine.
