EBS TD650 Question

I have this TD650 EBS head and am wondering for those of you with experience with this head, should the cooling fan run 100% of the time. I don't gig this amp or anything as I mainly use it at home at low volumes, but I've noticed the fan runs from the time i turn the amp on until I turn it off. Is this normal? Thanks
