Eden 410xlt or ??

Hello fellow bass heads!!

I need help from experienced people such as yourselves. I have my set up but I am wanting to condence it. I'll start off with my head unit, its a GK 1001rb mark II + 1 Eden DT410 + 1 Eden D115, I love the sound but I here good things about the Eden 410Xlt, I hear the low frequencies are nice and the mids punchy, clear. My question to you folks is, would it be a good idea to replace my 2 cabs for the 1 Eden 410XLt?? I wonder if the sound would come to being close to my 4 10's & 1 15"?? I would appreciate all your opinions and comments.

I had also considered the Aguilar gs410? but I LOVE the sound of my Eden. BTW my axe is a Fender American Jazz Deluxe.

Thanks in advance for all your help fellows

I just bought a D410XST8 and it put my Hartke stack ( XL115 and 4.5XL 410 cab) up for sale. This one cabinet has better and more sound than the full stack had, and is only running at half of the power. Right now I am trying to decide what to put on top of it.

I'm sure a single D410XLT will sound better than a D410T by itself. And what you have when you combine a 1x15 with a 4x10 is a really just about a 4x10 by itself on top of a heavy and expensive speaker stand. There're a ton of threads about the way a 1x15/4x10 stack's sound has so many issues.

I used an Eden WT-400 with a 4Ω D410XLT for many years, and it was perfect for almost all of our gigs. Too big for a few small wedding gigs (too many stairs to climb with that sized cabinet) and not enough speaker area for two or three outdoor gigs with inadequate PA support.

I used to have one Eden 410XLT on top of a 15. Then I bought a second XLT and put them together...you will notice a difference when it happens and you will want to keep your 15 because it sounds good, but you will probably do just that: keep it and hardly use it. If you plan on keeping the 400 I would say either use the 15 for smaller things (where you don't want to lug around a 98 pound cabinet) and get a four ohm XLT. I have only played the 410 you have once, and I never really got a decent understanding of it in Guitar Center. The XLT is a well balanced cab in my opinion. Heavy though. Try it before you buy it if you can though if it is used...I have two of them one from the early thousands, and the one from 2006...together they are great, apart though you can tell that they are different ages. Both sound good though...just different.

Eden 410xlt

I think I will be happy with the sound of the Eden 410XLT as far at the weight of the cab...well I have to choose my battles I basically want to go from 2 cabs to 1 but without loosing too much off the bottom. I have read great things about the 410xlt although I have not personally heard it. However I do know that my D410T sounds GREAT!

Yesterday, I bought a D410XLT to put on top of my D410XST. Add some electricity and I should have a monster.
