Sign in to disble this ad
Hey yall, one of my buddies has an Eden CXC110 sitting at his house that he is willing to sell. I play a lot of church gigs with in ears I think it would be a good buy. He bought it for $500 and has not used it and will give it to me for $450. What do you think?

the cabinet only??? Well, I looked and looked and LOOKED and called and called and finally found one but I only paid 200 for the cab. They are FANTASTIC cabs but are 80hm/200 watts.
500 is relatively crazy. I say crazy because if you want one enough, they are worth it. I would never pay that much though.

That's a decent price for a 2-ohm capable head (one of Eden's best and most reliable designs) and speaker for low volume church gigs, if everything is working and in good condition.

Good price. If it meets your needs and is in decent shape, I'd go for it.

That CXC112 combo is discontinued. Eden currently makes a combo based on the 112XLT cabinet and a lightweight head.

They keep a lot of discontinued products on the website. Some are on a discontinued products page but many aren't. Go to the products page for the current stuff and the CXC isn't there (and hasn't been for a long time).

Oh, you mean the badly photoshopped picture of the combo? Maybe that's what killed it.

Great little combo (I've got one) for many occassions - an 8 or 4 ohm ext cab and you've got a great set up for bigger venues. I sold my WT 330 to get more portable (wtx 260) and was disappointed - then I snagged a cxc110. Be sure to get the manual (on Eden site).

Hands-down BEST combo I've ever used- very loud for a 1x10, good DI, ext cab capable(2 in addition to the internal 10"), does 2 ohms, not too bulky or heavy, GOLDEN tone, great(IMO/IME)for DB. If you don't buy it, hook me up.

I used a CXC210 combo for a couple years, and it worked very well for a moderately quiet band. I liked the tone too.

I also used a CX110 cab with an Ashdown Electric Blue 180 head for rehearsals for one of my bands, but we all played at reasonable volumes as well. It worked quite well, and that little 110 cab sure seemed pretty efficient to me.

So, in short, it might work well for lower volume gigs or if everybody is playing at reasonable volumes, but it might not work when you wanna start rockin' out.

I owned one for a few years. Nice unit. Sounded great. I found it to be underpowered in typical band situations and usually required a second cab for more volume. If you're doing an acoustic act or playing an upright it will be perfect. Also great for practice.
