Eden d210t and Ampeg/Connection question

Sign in to disble this ad
I am using an Ampeg SVT-400t (200w into a 4 ohm load) with an Eden d-210t 10x2 4ohm cabinet. How should I connect these two?
The Ampeg has five-way binding posts and the Eden cabinet has one 1/4 jack.

Which output terminals should I use? Should I bridge the amp? Or, should I run it in "slave mode"? I am new to this, as you can probably guess.

According to this manual, the amp has either 1/4" jacks or banana plug/binding posts. You can either use a 1/4" to 1/4" speaker cable, or else one with banana plugs on one end and 1/4" plug on the other.

The manual also states that in bridge mode, the impedance should be 8 Ohms or greater. Based on that, bridge mode isn't recommended for this cabinet. Run it instead in "slave mode" and just use one amp channel for this speaker cabinet.
