The Eden XST goes nice and deep like the ampeg but should be a bit more defined

I only have experience with the original XST 210 cab but the older XLT cabs were designed with a mid bump and the XST cabs were designed do be more "flat" with deep lows and crisp highs.

I don't know for sure that the newer cheaper versions follow the same design objectives

410XST is a very powerfull low-end focused cab. I purchased one to compliment my 410XLT which is mid-heavy and the 2 together are amazing.

I think this cab would work well for sludge/doom given its capacity to handle downtunings and low freqs well.

I have always loved the sound of Eden heads and cabs and recently started looking at them. I found three used 4x10 Eden cabs in three different states and all had blown speakers. If you decide to try it, make sure you take the grill off the front and watch each speaker as you play a note. Make sure it sounds good and all the speakers are moving correctly.
