Through a friend I've gotten wind of a local guy who claims to have an Eden Highwayman 550. I'm not a complete novice, but I'm a regular reader and ocaissonal poster on TB and I know how great you all are with advice....and constructive criticism.
Is there such thing? I know of the WT-550 and the Highwayman-500. Do you think he misprinted it? Or is this a model that was discontinued? I couldn't find a Highwayman-550 in any searches or in the Reviews section of TB.
I am looking to upgrade from a WT-300 and this would be my chance. I am waiting for a response to my detailed questions via e-mail from the guy. In the meantime, what do you all think? Any specific questions that I should ask that you might think I missed? I'm excited about it and I don't want to make a bad decision. Any and all advice would be appreciated.
Responses aren't always immediate. It's slower during the day and especially on Fridays. As for the amp, I don't believe there was ever a Highwayman 550. I'd consider it a mistake and try to figure out which amp (the 550 or the Highwayman) he's selling. Two different animals, as I'm sure you're aware.

There's only the Highwayman 500.
I had one, and really didn't like it. Sorry about the blunt response, but the tone was about the most bland thing I ever heard.
