So I have been on the hunt for a sued Eden Nemesis combo. I eventually hooked up with a 115 used out of GC for a very good price. But while I was searching for one I ran into quite a few of the 2110 combos with blown speakers. It kind of got me thinking of how odd it is for multiple people selling amps of the same kind with blown speakers in them.
Does the old Nemesis 210 have a speaker blowing problem or something? Cant say i have ever ran into a kind of amp that I have seen this so frequently on. Maybe its just a coincidence?

I have yet to replace the speakers in them. Then again, I do not play with it full up like most probably do. Has good tone with ability to get a lot of different sounds. The last years of their production were off shore, so that may have been the difference. |

I've used it at very loud levels and haven't fried the driver yet but YMMV. |

I tried on of the WTX heads into a little 10" cab and it killed every other amp at the store. So I decided I would check out this "Eden" company. THe Nemesis seems to be a great value so I went for it. I have had 115's for the past couple years, and a 112, but I was willing to try a 210, just could not get my hands on one. I was AMAZED at how the little head and cab packed such a killer tone, real kick in the balls stuff!
Is there any obvious way to figure out if its on from over seas or not? I assume it will say made in China or USA on it?

Good luck with your new gear. I know I like my Nemesis stuff a lot.

I used it mainly for stage volume with 2 guitarists, and a loud drummer. I had to watch that I didn't push her TOO hard, as the sound would get very thin. It could work on it's own in very small rooms, but not so much when the club got very wide, if that makes any sense.

i'm guessing this is one of the really old ones. it's missing a few knobs, but that would be an easy fix. at ~ 47 lbs, it could come in handy for auditions/rehearsals when i don't want to lug a heavy cab. |
