So today I needed to re-program my Driverack 260 to mono operation, so I whipped out my laptop to hook it up and simplify the process. Well, my WT-300 is in a padded case sitting on my effects case, so I had to move it out of the way to get to the effects case. I set it on edge at the edge of a shelf in my storage area, thinking at the time, "I have to be careful not to knock that off the shelf."
After I got my effects case with the DR 260 set up with the computer, I went in my storage area to get the mixer board. I needed to re-label some inputs and outputs on my mixer (I use color codes for a 30-second patch). As I was getting the mixer bag down from the shelf, the strap hit the Eden amp bag and WHOMP! The Eden hit the floor. Awww, son-of-a-Siberian-sea-snake.
Well, what was done was done, so I let it lay there until I finished with the PA system. Then I reluctantly picked it up to go see if it still worked. From the sound of it hitting the floor, it was evident that it just hit flat. The case is padded, so I had a ray of hope, but feared that a solder joint may have come loose, or the tube was damaged.
I plugged it in, hooked it up to my D-210XST, and plugged in a bass. Man, I had forgotten how great that amp sounds, having not played it in a couple years. It's still in pristine condition (it's a '96), no dents, no damage, great sound. Whew!
That is all.
