If there is no model name on the front, which is it? I found one, but don't want to make the drive unless it's a 405, and the guys can't tell me which it is as there is no model designation on the front. Thanks!

Manufacture.

The manufacture date would probably give you a good idea. I do not know for certain but as far as I know if there is no designation it is most likely a WT-330. There was a mid Time Traveler WT-390 (which was stamped) and then the current WT-405 (also stamped) both of which were before the WTX's.

The series is identical AFAIK except for the power and they all go down to 2 ohms...if you are just looking to demo it....the WT-330 would give you a spot on idea of how the WT-405 would sound.

Hope this helps. These are great amps.

The WT405 clearly says what it is on the front upper right, so it's a 330. Click on the picture of the amp to zoom and you'll see what I mean:

It's from 2003, serial:

0303E1040.

Probably a 330? I played through a d112xt (sp?) and damn it was loud and deep out of that amp. I thought I'd need the 405, but I think maybe I could get by on the 330.
