how long has this thing been around, I've never seen it mentioned on TB ever? does anyone have any experience with it or any comments on how it sounds?

Some, like Bergantino and Genz Benz, only talk about a new product when it literally is weeks away from shipping (VERY impressive). Others, like Epifani, talk about a product as if it is in the market, and then it doesn't show up for literally years. Most companies fall 'in between' those two extremes.
Eden IMO has been pretty good (I think... haven't really followed them since they were bought and sold and bought and sold again) about releasing new announced products in a reasonable amount of time.
Looks like a nice little unit for those who dig the Eden tone stack! |

EBS also has a floor mount version of their primary integrated preamp, and Sansamp makes a pretty accurate version of the classic SVT front end in their VT pedal. Markbass also has a pedal driven by this concept. |
