Eden WTX 500 Noise issue

Sign in to disble this ad
How -Do fellow TBers,

I just received a WTX-500 from a fellow TBer
This is for any one who has one... 2 questions;

1. Is the fan supposed to always be on? (the manual is vague at best)

2. Noise through speaker (GB NeoX 212t) is almost annoyingly loud, between a faint low hum and a higher pitched louder hum..
Tried different outlets, cabs... Is this a noisy amp?

Other than that, I'm loving it!

Any help would be appreciated ~ Thanks

I've had my WTX500 for about 15 months now. And the fan is quite noisy. If I didn't like the tone and weight so much, it would have gone back along time ago ! And, as they say, at gig volume, you never hear a fan. To your specific question, I'm sure the fan runs all the time on mine....

However, as for electrical noise/buzz/hum....its pretty quiet.
