Hi Guys
Looking for some help, I am hoping to buy a new amp soon and I am torn between the Eden WTX 500 and the Genz Benz Streamliner 600, I did try out the Eden WTX 500 at Musikmesse and I was well impressed, lovely warm buttery tone, I also seen the Genz Benz Streamliner 600 but did not get to test, anyone out there offer any advice on which way to go, or the main Differences on the two ?
Thanks a Mill

After all, it's your tone, not mine.

It's the same amp as the WTX500, just with about half the wattage. Genz Benz Streamliner 900
Ed Friedland's the man. That's as good as any YouTube review is going to get.
Hope those help!

| | | | Thanks guys for thge heads up, I have always been a Tube Preamp fan , the Genz does this very well in the Streamliner models, I was amazed thought at the quality on the WTX 500 for a pure solid state amp.
Thanks

A number of users have suggested that the Eden micro amps hit limiting abruptly and earlier than expected, given the power ratings. On the other hand, the new GB amps were designed with a "tube like" power amp limiter response which should provide greater useful overall output. So, beside the tonal differences, this may be worth considering if you intend to push the amp close to the limit.
