Effect Loop and D.I.

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi!

I am interesting in some options about connecting some effects, in live situations:

- If I use D.I. from the amp (pre set) did the signal notice the effect in my effect loop on amp?

- If not, and if I still use it, than I need a microphone on cabinet?

- If I use external D.I. after all my effects, but still have some effect in effext loop of an amp - I think these effects will not be in the signal?

- So, my chances are to have some external effect loop before my D.I.?

- Or ofcourse to use all effect in normal chain, no effect loop - so I have all in the signal to D.I. and from cabinet ofcourse (that always)

- And: Is it worth it to have effect loop? (on the guitar I did it); ofcourse for cosmetical effects, to not disturb your signal, when they are not used; is it usually done like that among the bass player?

Thenx
