Eminence Deltalite II vs. avatar oem tone?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, has anyone one directly compared the tone of the 10" eminence deltalite II to the oem version that avatar uses? The avatar has a bigger x-max but, I was wondering if there was any difference in the tone. Especially in the mids and highs. Thanks. I'll take my answer off the air.

The Avatar version rolls off in the mids considerably lower than the stock version, at 1.5kHz, leaving a much deeper and wider midrange hole between where the woofers leave off and the tweeters begin.

Important to note that the Avatar driver does not increase Xlim either, just Xmax.
