2 weeks ago this speaker was at $180, how come it is now at $350 !!!???? Someone tell me what is going wrong please, I wanted to purchase this speaker but now i think it is out of my budget!!

neodymium magnets went up in price by 200% so it raised the price of the eminence speaker because neodymium magnets are used to make it

That is also the minimum retail price that can be listed. Most places are selling them for far less than that. You usually have to add it to your cart before the actual price can be shown.

You can get them for $180 at Guitar Center/Musician's Friend. They are out of stock for a week or so though.

At that price, they won't be able to afford to buy their next batch, they didn't make enough money on this one.
