eminence speaker markings

Sign in to disble this ad
Just recived in a pair of new eminence speakers and the box is marked with the correct model number but there are no markings whatsoever on the speaker, just the eminence sticker on the back of the magnet.

How can I be sure I got the right speakers? Boxes appearded to be factory sealed. Is this normal?

Hi.

IIRC, mine have always had either a small sticker on the magnet and/or printed number on the cone.

Pics could help, as would the supposed model I guess.

Regards

I'd probably contact Eminence and get the scope from them. Most manufactuers have a 6 or 7 digit code number stamped on the frame indicating maker and year and week.

Unfortunately Eminence isn't real big on stock speaker ID. For people who don't buy a lot of drivers and know the models well, it can be disconcerting.

I have a Kappa Pro LF-2 that is simply labeled Kappa Pro on the magnet. I peeled the rubber ring that is around the Magnet off and "Kappa Pro LF-2" was written on the speaker there covered up by the rubber ring. The ring just slipped right back on. Not sure about yours tho'.....

Come to think of it..I need to build something to put that dang driver in....
