Oh, goodie, another guitar cab maker who doesn't seem to realize that bass cabs really are a different thing altogether. Take me back to the early days of Fender Bassman cabs while you are at it.

I looked at Vader's website...it doesn't look like they have any bass players endorsing their stuff...or at least none listed...and all the guitar players are death metal dudes...

Are these cabs one-trick pony's?

Yeah, I love Young Widows. They're also endorsed by Russian Circles and These Arms Are Snakes, two really good groups in the Indie/Progressive/Experimental scene.

I'd really love to try some of these cabs out. I bet the 6x12 sounds huge...

Yeah my band uses emperor cabs. I have a 215 bass cab and my guitarist uses a 612 guitar cab.

Here is a pic:

They are matching, which makes them look great on a stage.

I had an ampeg 810 cab before my emperor 215 blew it away. I cant really explain the tone, its very raw and powerful. I crank the gain on my ampeg, and with the grabber's gritty tone it makes for a huge sound thats very unique. I get complimented all the time. because im that awesome. haha jk.

as for the 612 guitar cab, Its also very awesome. I cant say much because i dont play guitar, but its loud.

Just shoot the guys at emperor an email about pricing. They usually can work something good out.

I was quoted $500 for a bass-oriented (Bass speakers, deeper than standard) 2x12 not long ago.
