Just wondering if anyone has ever had to replace the tweeter or crossover on any of their cabs?

I replaced the tweeter diaphragm but that didn't fix the problem so I'm thinking I fried the crossover!

have you fix this problem yet? I can't hear anything coming out from the tweeter but when I put power to it by itself using a home audio amp, I can hear sound coming through it.

I have this speaker now, and am planning to start troubleshooting this soon. I have not even hooked up the speaker, so I can't say for sure what was going on... DWBass may be able to shed some light?

I thought it was just a blown tweeter. I contacted the folks at Epifani. They told me to replace the diaphragm which I bought and installed. That did not fix the issue. I figured it had to be the crossover. I did not get a chance to troubleshoot further due to a trade for the cab. I'm from NY and had planned to stop by the Epifani shop on one of my visits and see if they could fix for me.

TBer Gruuv has replaced a couple of crossovers in t-210's. He may have advice if this is still an issue.

Thanks Jim... I just hooked it up last night, and confirmed that there's a lot of noise when the tweeter's turned "up". I'll hit up Gruuv

I have the SAME exact problem so I subbed... let me know what you find.

The reason I dont recommend Epifanis anymore is that they brushed me off a few times on this issue. Its been MANY years I've had this tweeter off now.

The two times I have called the Epifani shop with questions, Nick and Sean were courteous and helpful, though clearly pretty busy—"Eey, itz Brooklin, Y'kno!??, Nize twalkin to yez—gotta go!"

For what it's worth, I have three Epifani cabs, which I use constantly, typically at three rehearsals a week, and a gig or two—not counting bass practice, teaching, and playing at home for fun. I have had zero issues with my cabinets, just wish my cats were a little less fanatical about being around them!
