I would like to check out the 310 some day, it is one of the Epifani's that I have no experience with!
You might be surprised. I've often felt that 115's just wouldn't quite have the mid presence of 10's, but recent experiences have proven me wrong. I say don't lament your choices until after you've gigged with them and confirmed there's actually a problem. I suspect you'll be happy.

I will admit that the UL 115 drivers are the most responsive 15" ones that I have ever played! Nick at Epifani claims they have faster response than many smaller 12" drivers on the market............With the little play time I have gotten on the UL 115's, I'd say that Nick is right!

Yes the 15s are fast and punchy for their size. But there is nothing that sounds or feels like the Epi 610.

Hey guys, I've been trying to lay my hands on a UL410 series one to compliment my UL2-410. I don't want two cabs that have identical sounds; when recording, I mic both cabs and create the blend of the two that I like the most. Then I saw the UL310's again. What (if any) are the tonal differences between the 310 and the 410?

IMO i dont find much of a tonal difference. I feel the same way as many others that the 3x10 is more of a super 2x10. I also feel they kinda compress nicely when pushed. its a great cabinet though but i feel is has the same tonal character as a 2x10 or 4x10.

Ok, so I just bought this T310 that has UL310 Drivers installed.

Fs: Epifani UL310 and Epifani T310

What can I expect for a sound? I plan on playing it with the LMII that is on its way to me. I currently have the walkabout scout combo, but I imagine this new rig might sound a bit different...

Can anyone tell me if the plastic logo plates on the early UL-2 series are easily removed/unscrewed from the back of the grille? I hated the yellow and blackened it with a sharpie but would rather just remove them. If they are glued, however, a little inside knowledge could spare me the time of peeling the grilles off.

I try my best at keeping things organized and the member list updated...............But admittedly, I am not the most knowledgable Epifani member in the Forum! Many of these questions will need answers form some of the Epifani experts, as I have no idea on how a T310 will sound with UL Neo Drivers? To be honest, I have never even played the T310, just the UL version. I do believe the emblems are just glued (two side taped) on the grills................At least my UL's are!

I'd suggest taking the grill off, which is fairly easy to do, and looking at the rear of the badge. That should tell you how its attached.

Its going to be much louder than the scout combo. From my experience with the UL310, you'll find that it sounds rather flat and full with less of a pronounced upper mid due to one less driver than a typical Neo 410. The cabinet size is actually more per driver with the 310 vs the 410, so that usually gives the cab more lows depending on tuning.

In all honesty, it will sound great but I can't recall to give you a good idea of how it will sound. I'm not good at describing tone.
