I've changed so many rigs but Epifani is right choice for me. UL 501 is killer amp, dominating and UL 110 is incredible cab, truly amazing. Now I seen the light!!!

| Hey ken, I checked with tecamp, and running the Bona in bridged and mono mode into a 4 ohm cab results in 4 ohm load, which they said is fine of course. |

I Switched over from Eden WT800/410XLT to Epifani UL501/D.I.S.T. 410 last month and I love it but after my gig last night I loaded my 410 and rack with the UL501 in it onto my Gruv Gear cart and wheeling it outside it fell over. :'( I brought it home and inspected it and only found some scrapes on the 410 corner guards. The one thing I noticed was that bottom left speaker is not working of moving and no sound is coming from it, so I thought that maybe the connections came loose but it was not the case. I will be getting ahold of Nick Epifani to ask his advice and my Epifani Dealer but please help me out. |

That being said, if you are still interested in that head, check and see if it still uses a Powersoft power module. If yes, I would avoid it (i.e., that is the model that had some issues when run at 4ohm bridged). if it is updated with an ICE module, it is probably fine. |

I called 2 weeks ago and sent Nick an email and still no response. According to DCR they are common, readily available, cheeper and much quicker to get online elsewhere. He's on the road so I don't want to bother him right now.
I thought for sure one of my learned TB brothers would know.

If so, is it as good as the former UL310 Series II I had four years ago or so? Never shoulda let that one go. What a killer one-cab-does-it-all Solution ...in a lightweight portable package!

So it would not be a recommended configuration. That's one of the issues of any 310 cab. That 5.3 ohm basically makes it a standalone only cab with the majority of the amps on the market today.

The only reason I sold it was to get a 410. I was doing some outdoor gigs and the 310 was just not quite enough and I could not add a second cab to it. So, I went the 410 route. But, I love the UL310 cabs.
