Epifani PS400

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion of the Epifani PS400. I'm thinking about picking one up for my church, but I'm worried that 400 watts won't be enough. It'll probably suffice, but my personal rig is a Shuttlemax 12 through two Epifani UL410's...

Has anyone played through one? How is it compared to the Little Mark II/III or the Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0?

You are playing in church, how much power do you need?

400w not enough for a church? Inconceivable! Right now, you're playing through a tour level rig. Do you not have PA support? Just seems like an awfully loud setup you have there.

I play in a touring rock band, hence the loud GB/Epifani rig. It's still overkill, but it's nice to have. No one needs a Ferrari...

The PS400 will probably be enough for the church. It'll be going through a third UL410 that I picked up. I'm probably worried for no reason.

Do you guys have any opinions on the tone?

I think the UL's use Neo's. I'm not normally a Neo fan but those cabs really sound nice and warm. They can get loud with enough juice of which 400w will be more than enough in a church setting.

I'm an Epifani user (2 PS112's w/traditional drivers).

Yup, love the UL410s which is why this one is the third one! Just wondering about the PS400 though...I've looked everywhere are there just aren't any reviews or discussions about it online.
