epifani replacement speaker

I've got an Epifani T-212 (diagonal one). One of the speakers blew and I'm replacing it. I really wanted to find one of the original speakers from that period but that's proving impossible. So is the ceramic performance speaker closer to the classic epifani voicing or the neodynium ul's? Anyone have any experience?

What did you get from Epifani themselves???
