Epifani T-110 replacement speaker ??

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello TBers,

I have an Epifani T110 (not UL).

Has anyone replaced their speaker in a T110? What's a good replacement speaker for it? Did you use neo speaker? same factory speaker? UL 110 speaker?

Need advice. Thanks in advance TBers.

Without even hearing the cab, the best answer is to replace it with another speaker just like it was built with. If that's not available, then you need to break out the ruler and start measuring the internal air space, then start shopping for a speaker that works within those parameters. If you like the sound of the cab now, just get that speaker again. Even if you install a new speaker that works in that airspace, it will sound different than the stock driver, so keep that in mind.

You could also ask Epi what they recommend as a drop in.

Recone it. My T110 was sounding flabby, so I sent it to Orange County Speaker and they did a great recone job.
They even were able to use the existing dust cover with the Epifani stencil.
