Epifani UL2 610 vs. Markbass HR810? Head to go with the Epi for punch and clarity?

Hi, everyone, I'm new here and hope for your advice. At the moment, I will keep this post as simple as possible, i.e. not get into many details concerning my equipment and style of music.

I'm currently playing and gigging with a Markbass HF410 cab, powered by a Markbass SA450 head (500W). It's a nice setup, but I'm wishing for more punch and volume/headroom.

As the Markbass sound appeals to me, I was initially going to go with a Markbass HR810, powered by a MoMark MO1200. However, reading the reviews for the Epi has made me reconsider my choice.

My questions:
- Has anyone compared the two cabs and can give me some details about their respective sound-character?
- What heads would be a good match for the epi? The SA450 I'm currently using has a semi-para EQ which I use to boost certain low and high mids. Any heads with similar flexibility would be preferred, though I am willing to look into other solutions (outboard EQ,...).
