Epifani UL902C Owners - Mute Question ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Howdy

OK i bought a Epifani UL902C off eBay that was meant to be BRAND NEW !! but it's clearly been used (no manual, original box etc.) and the seller has since admitted as much. But besides some marks, dinks and scratches the mute seems to be letting a little signal through.

At normal practice level's and with my bass volume maxed out i can just hear some signal coming through, but at gigging levels it's much more noticeable. Is this mute meant to be dead silent or is this how it is with this amp ?

One other question, is it meant to ship with the footswitch included or is that separate purchase ?

I did email Epifani a few days ago but they haven't responded.

Thanks guys

I have the same thing with the little volume coming through when the mute switch is on. I haven't had any problems with this live..... I bought a new one two years ago.

The footswitch is extra

OK so this amp probably isn't faulty but just a bit scuffed up.

Thanks for the response, much appreciated.

It's normal. Doesn't make sense but they all do it.
