Perfect for what? Everyone's idea of a great tone is different.

I used to run my Eden amps flat. Does that help? It all depends on the instrument, your musical style, the amp, the speakers you're using, and the room.

It's like asking how much salt I put on my food. All depends.

As does your hands also make a huge difference. This is a question that ONLY YOU can answer.

I guess we can post the exact frequencies on our EQ and how much we cut and boost.

I play with very bright strings (D'addario prosteels), humbucking bridge pickup solo'd on a Warwick. EQ-wise, I play with a bit of a boost on my low mids and a slight cut on my really low bass, the rest are kept pretty flat. Like Jimmy, this will be slightly altered to fit with the sound of the room and the general mix, but thats my starting point.
