EQ recommendation needed

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought an Eden WT405 but it needs more EQ than what is on the amp. Can anyone recommend some very clean EQ that I can put in the signal path? Now that I've got a nice clean amp I don't want really dirty EQ.
Thanks.

What can't you get from the WT405?

+1...

But a nice straightforward EQ (IMO) is the Boss GEB-7.

*Its an EQ
*Its a boss
*its like $70 new

I think youll find (if you look around) a lot of pros have it in their setups.

I got mine like 2 yrs ago (good deal) messed with it...never really brought to gigs (im a plug n play type).

But lately been wantin a lil suttin more to my sound...whipped out the geb7...havent looked back.

YMMV

Flat eq. But if you have to then get a GEB-7. I have one and loves it. Got it used on CL for 40 bucks in brand new condition.

Can't get a boost in that 100-150hz range. It's just not there and you can't get it by subtracting other areas of EQ.
Thanks for the recommendations. Is the Boss unit quiet?

That's the first time I've ever heard someone say they don't have enough eq on an eden amp Not sure if you are boosting the enhance knob maybe? if you are, try running that flat and eq from there... On my eden navigator I have exactly the opposite, having to cut back a bit on those same frequencies, but then our tastes in tone and our guitars probably sound quite differently

Edit: Oh and I have a GEB-7 as well, it is very handy and also quite sensitive if you boost frequencies - a little adjustment goes a long way
