i came across somebody that is willing to let go two of these cabs for 400 bucks (or 300 for one). i already have one and i like it, but was wondering if i should just jump on the 400 price tag and get both. i really only need one, but 100 bucks more for another seems like a good deal. maybe i'll buy both and sell one. what do you guys think?

not sure if you guys need this information to get a better idea of what im trying to do, but i have a swr grand prix pre running through a qsc rmx 2450.

Fernandino,

Well, my first question is how much do you think you'll like carrying around two 70 pound cabinets and lifting them in and out of your vehicle at 1 AM in the morning? Next comes the power requirements. The VL 210's are very power hungry beasts, so it's going to take an amp that produces @1,0000 watts RMS at 4 ohms to drive them IMHO. They are designed to stack, and make an incredible linear array. The low end on those cabinets earth shaking, but it doesn't travel very far off the stage. The price is very nice if they are in good shape. One other thing. Those cabinets have five speakers and two crossovers as I recall. There a plumbers nightmare to work on the inside.
Just my take though.

Three of these with a B1500 would be a beautiful thing.
I would buy both and keep them all.
If not for the complete stack, keep it for spare parts.

the weight isnt really a concern at this point... maybe in another 4-5 years it will be, but im pretty sure i could handle the weight.

i think im gonna buy them both cuz i may have already found a buyer for one who is willing to pay me 250 and some random effect pedals. or i may just do as babebambi said... just keep them all. its really difficult to find decent used gear out in hawaii without paying an arm and a leg. people here tend to factor in the paid x-amount of dollars for shipping and handling making used prices just slightly less than buying new.

thanks for the input guys!
