EV-2150M Cab .. sweet sounding vintage

Sign in to disble this ad
I just traded an El Capitan bass and case for the best speaker I've ever heard...EV-2150M.
Sweet sounding old school bass cab with two 15inch and one 6inch speakers for full bass spectrum sound.
It seems to blow the socks off my 1976 8X10 SVT, modern yorkville 8x8 or Ampeg B series 15 single 15.
All I can say is I`m glad I don`t have to move it (much). It`s heavier and larger footprint than the Ampeg SVT cab.
And does it sound great with my 1968 Traynor Custom special amp. I can`t wait to try it with some other old tube heads.
400 Watts power handling.

I had the "skinny" Stanley Clarke version of that cab...Used it for about 15 years!...awsome sound!

edit...EV 215-BM I think was the model.

Had attenuation knob for the VMR on the front.
