Ever drive a power amp with a Sadowsky outboard DI?

I love the sound of my VT bass pedal going thru a power amp and am thinking of getting a Sadowky to do the same for times when I want that modern tone, particularly the sad slap tone. Is the Sad powerful enough to drive a power amp? I've owned one before but never tried it this way. I know it only has a volume and 2 boost controls so I was thinking if it can't do it, maybe an Aguilar Tonehammer.
