Is this an example of an OSB 8x10?

This is from an Raleigh, NC CL ad for an 8x10. The bottom left casing has separated from the cab.

This particular cap is a 50th Anniv. Made in the US version. When people talk about OSB construction, is this what is being talked about?

Yes. OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is not very strong, falls apart when it gets wet, and is a lot heavier than plywood. But it's less expensive.

Yup, that's it. There was another thread on here a while ago. Same thing, panel with the wheels on it sheared off.

The stuff is weak structurally and can not handle weather extremes or hard knocks.
