I just got back from a Gwar show, the opening act, Mobile Death Camp's bassist was using a cab that perplexed me. It appeared to be a 610 but the top speakers may have been 212's. There was some kind of cover over the speakers (probably why I perceive them as 212's). Any explanation?  |

Given the posing going on perhaps he blew up two drivers so the 6 is what's left. Maybe he rewired it with 6 to some odd impedance to get "more" out of the amp?

Bass was kind of muddy for every band no matter what rig was being played. Wescott Theater has up-to-date sound gear for the soundman but the PA in the place is old and lacking. If you live around here check out the Lost Horizon's massive PA.
