Would anyone from across the pond have any comments about or experience with the Foundation 212 cabinet?

Website shows this as the only priced product for this new, to me, company although that Foundation 112 in three configurations is especially intriguing. Angled speaker baffle and tilt/leg looks like a winner in the photos.

Cheers,

HI there

The foundation 112's are still in pre production test's

They are pictured here next to one of the foundation 212's

Hopefully they will be in production early next year.

The tilt back feature is working really well for those compact stages where you are ontop of your backline

I really like the angled sides and tilt back feature of that top cab. Like you said that makes monitoring on small stages much easier. I can think of a few guitards that should take notes!

Thanks for the info Dave.

Something to look forward to for 2012 indeed.

The form factor options of the Foundation 112 just makes so much sense after all these years of gigging.

All the Best for Success.

I don't like the diagonal woofers and the tilt back with a rack atop looks like an accident just waiting to happen.

I had assumed that those cabs would have some kind of stop on top of them to prevent that. Looks like that rack is at a steep angle already...

It does look like its going to be unstable but the actual stack is very stable when tilted back.

Indeed it does.

This is part of the cab design that is being revised for an adjustable amp stop to suit micro heads and racks.

But before they go into production with the CNC guys I am carrying out some more x-over tests and live gigs.
