Extension cab for Roland Cube 100

I know that this has been asked before, but I'm still not clear on this. I bought a used Roland Cube 100. The manual says that the extension cab should be 100 watts minimum and 8 ohms max. Obviously, I could use an 8 ohm cab...but if I understand the info given in previous posts, a 4 ohm would be better. If I do get an extension cab, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you sure the manual doesn't say 8 ohm minimum? That's what the Cube 100 manual on the Roland website says.

The manual on Roland's site says this:
You can connect external speaker here.
When connected, sounds are played from both the CUBE and
the external speakers.
* When connecting to an external speaker, make sure the speaker
conforms to the following specifications.
Impedance: 8
Ω
maximum
Allowable power input: 100 watts minimum

So would a 4 ohm cab work?
