extention cab to a combo amp?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a fender bassman 100 wich is 100 watts @ 4 Ohms
I was wondering if i could use a extention cab like a 210 or 410 without hurting the amp.

the outputs are: XLR line out, tuner out, effects in, effects out

thanks in advance

I'm no engineer, but I think there's a reason that your amp doesn't have a speaker out.

Fender amps are built to maximize power using only the internal speaker. Hence, no speaker output. And, if you did wire one in, you'd run the amp below 4 ohms, and fry it.

"Extention" is actually spelled extension.

yes, and "wich" is supposed to be "which", but hey, the rest of the words were spelled correctly so it's a very good average.

Don't mind us Schecter. Your post was fine and your question was intelligent. Unlike us.
