Anyone here use and enjoy these compact bass cabs? What do you think of them (especially compared to other similar cabs)?

Anyone have a spare one that they would sell?

They're awesome, but like ANY single 12" cab, you'd need at least 2 of them in a rock band.

I have been so tempted to buy a pair of these but would love to hear some feedback from owners as well as comparisons to other more popular 112 cabs including the Mesa Scout 112.. At almost 50 pounds each, they don't really qualify as lightweight cabs and they are certainly not inexpensive. But as a huge Mesa fan, they sure do look appealing!

I love my Mesa 112 cabs. One can get pretty loud and two is more than enough. They're listed at 42 pounds, not 50 pounds. I think they're easy to carry around though. I had an Epifani 112 cab that was 31 pounds but was harder to carry because of the top mounted handle and the size. The spring loaded handles on the sides of the Mesa cabs are more ergonomic, even if carrying only by one handle. Anyway, they sound great. Very thick and punchy. I would get two to give yourself more options. Oh, and compared to the Mesa Scout 112, I think they project better. The Scouts sound good but they didn't seem to project very far and gets lost in the mix more easily.

I have owned a pair, and have tried a slew of 12s (pretty much all except aggie and GB Neox). As far as the Me3sas go IMO:
Pluses are box build quality, fit and finish. Sound is good but no better than others of similar price, and these weigh more than competitors (like Epi and EA). I prefer the Scout 12 cabs, which are tuned lower, cost more and are lighter. Overall, my favorite 12 is the Audiokinesis TC12, which buries any stock 12 as it has a LF driver and can handle easily twice the power of any off the shelf 12. Of stock 12s, my faves are the Scouts and EA Wizzies.

Edit-the PH 12s do project better than the Scouts as they seem more mid-focused

I sure do like my Scout12 cab but can see how it would not project as far as a more traditionally designed cab. A pair of 112's an be an expensive way to go but the portability and flexibility of having a modular rig can be worth the added expense.

Yeah, don't get me wrong but I really like the sound of the scout cab. And in a smaller room it works fine. Standing next to it you can really feel the bass and that's really the tone I'm looking for. The downward facing speaker couldn't really handle larger rooms though. If you're going through a pa it's less an issue as long as you can still hear yourself on stage.
