fEarful crossovers, and pc boards.

Are there any crossovers, and pc boards for the 1515/66?
My local builder just sent me an email that he'd have to load the cab with his amps for the cab, and I'll need a preamp, cause he can't make a crossover.

I don't want that, so is there pre-built crossovers, or schematics to make one?

And I'll ask again since I'm afraid to buy a cab that I never heard, 1515/66 will push more air, and be louder than a Ampeg 8x10?

Please visit the fEARful website for info on the crossover for the 1515/66. Your builder's comments on including an amp makes no sense...

And we answered this comment about pushing more air than an 810 in the other thread you started yesterday.

AFAIK Madisound sells blank circuit boards for some of the more common x-over circuits. You populate them with the component values that you need.

Circuit Boards: Madisound Speaker Store

Speakerhardware.com sells the complete kit for the 1516/66. It comes with all the components for the crossovers but no PCB.

I'm sure Leland would be happy to sell you the the components. It's easy enough to figure out the schematic yourself or have someone local build the crossovers for you.

Your builder is trying to make you his cash cow by telling you he has to include his own amps. LOL, that's a good one!

If you can't build the cab yourself, by all means, have a pro build it to spec. YOU should do the finish work and electronics yourself. You'd save a lot of cash and learn something in the process.

I bought a 15/6 prebuilt crossover for my 15/6 and it worked out great.

That's the only pro I found around here, I can build the cab, even make it myself, but electronics? no.
If I'll deal with any kind electronics, something will blow up.

I'll try to look for others if the schemes on the fEarful site can't help him.

Builds crossovers: AMS Enterprises

There's gotta be someone in Israel that builds crossovers?

Or if you can find someone who can do some electronics/soldering then you can buy the parts.

See the fearful forum for Ron Anchak. He's built 1515/66 xovers for customers. Not that I can't do it, just my plate is too full now.

Do you, or Ron anchak build pre-built crossovers with PCBs, and crossovers for the twitter?

Neither does his claim that he can't build crossovers. If that's true I wouldn't trust his ability to build the cab at all. Find another builder, perhaps the one listed in Israel here:

perhaps lack of availability of specifc x-over components is the issue, as it is in the UK, but realistically all it takes is an order to ERSE in the USA

Ron put mine together on plywood, as do most fEarful builders I believe. He did a really nice job.

Here's the link to authorized fEARful builders:
fEARful™ enclosures for bass/drums/keys

Shouldn't be difficult to contact them individually and see if they'll build a cross-over and ship it over to you.

Oh yeah... +1!

Bill is referring to Nimrod Webber. He's a BFM builder, not a fEARful builder, but his work and skills are exceptional. For evidence, scan Bill's forum for posts by N.Webber.
