"On FedEx Vehicle for Delivery" aka NEW Cabinet Day!

Sign in to disble this ad
Ohhhhhhhhh yeah. I've got a Marshall 2x15 coming to me from California... and should be here in the next few hours. I'm off work today, so I'm basically waiting around the house, waiting for that truck to pull up.

This cabinet is going to be a bit of a project for me, so I'm really excited. Soon I will be ordering tolex and grill cloth, and I'll be making the cabinet look brand new again. I've decided to go with the Marshall style black tolex with the Marshall style brown small weave grill.

Cool

“Out for delivery” are three of my favorite words with “Delivered” being one of my very favorite words.

I find I'm always listening or that distinctive diesel sound the brown truck makes roaming around my neighborhood or approaching my office building! Fedex is much more stealthy as you never know what kind of vehicle they will show up in.

My first reaction to this cabinet is it's sensitivity. I've never heard the EQ on my Mesa Boogie Buster 200 come to life before. The cabinet has 2 Celestion Sidewinder 250 watt speakers. I had never played Celestions before, but these speakers are LOUD. I cranked my Mesa Boogie through this cabinet and it sounded amazing. Again, very sensitive. I can feel and hear every little nuance of each note, and it has a clarity that the Eminence Delta 15A speakers didn't.

My only wish is that I could get some more distortion out of my amp. It's got too much power. I think I'll buy a bass overdrive or distortion until my Marshall Super Bass arrives.
