Fender 300 Pro footswitch cable replacement

Sign in to disble this ad
This might be a stupid question but...I've finally decided to start using the footswitch for my 300 pro and I'm thinking the cable might be too short for bigger stages. Are there replacements you can get? Would just a regular instrument cable work?

That's what it says in the Fender manual ... I built one that is 25 feet long, used lamp cord, works like a charm
